The annual City Championship game will take place at 7:35 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27, and we’re excited to see how this friendly, crosstown battle shakes out on the gridiron. Tickets are priced at $10 per person.
To prepare for the Battle Between the Bricks, we are implementing a few changes and requests with the goal of providing a safe and enjoyable evening for all attendees:
- All attendees will be scanned using an electronic wand at the admission gate;
- No outside bags will be allowed. Individuals wishing to bring in outside items will need to place those items in a clear plastic bag. All bags will be subject to search;
- Middle and high school students will be required to have a student ID with them at the admission gate; and
- Elementary and middle school students will be required to have a parent or guardian with them at admission. If students are dropped off at the gate without such individuals or identification, they will not be admitted.
Additionally, since Brunswick High will be the home team, fans are asked to enter the stadium from Fourth Street. Fans of Glynn Academy should enter from the Exchange Club fairgrounds entrance on Emory Dawson Road.
Students from Glynn Middle and Risley Middle are asked to sit on the visitor’s side, while students from Jane Macon Middle and Needwood Middle should sit on the home side.
We hope this will alleviate congestion on all roads surrounding the stadium. Thank you for your continued support of our students and school system. If you have any questions, please let us know.
